This Mendota “meteorwrong” is from a find in 2009 by Joe Kerchner near Mendota, Illinois. This material has been tested by various labs and has been confirmed to be non meteoritic. However, they have not been able to determine the origin of the material or if it is man-made but tests have confirmed the presence of nickel. The TKW is only around 3.5 kg
