‘Msg-Meteorites’ Tungsten Carbide Centimetre Scale Cube
What better way to give a proper sense of scale to your meteorite specimen photographs.
Scale cubes are used for taking photographs of meteorites or indeed anything where you need an object in the photo as a reference for size and/or direction. They are made of Tungsten Carbide, a very hard dense material and measure 10mm x 10mm x 10mm. Properly cared for they should last a lifetime. They come in 2 different finishes – Black Polished or Black Brushed (both black coatings made of Titanium Nitrile and Aluminum) The cubes are Laser Etched with ‘MSG Meteorites’ with Fireball logo and 1cm on top, B on the bottom and N, E, W, and S on the other faces. All letters have a dot showing the bottom of the letter. They are often used where the faces can be aligned to match compass bearings. The different faces (T-top, B-bottom, N-North, S-South, E-East, W-West) can also be used as an indication as to which side of the object the viewer is seeing.
They come individually supplied in a black velvet bag.
