Space Rocks In a Box! Genuine Meteorites From Outer Space!

Meteorites are pieces of naturally formed space debris that have been blasted off the surface of an asteroid or planet. These chunks of space rock can occasionally intersect Earth’s orbit to make a fiery descent through our atmosphere and impact the ground ready to find as a meteorite. Usually a meteorite’s name will derive from the location where it fell. Exceptions are the hot and cold deserts where a large percentage of meteorites are found with no location data. Here they are all given the same area name and a consecutive number. A lot of the most common Stone meteorites remain unclassified as to the exact type. These are fragments of an unclassified Stone Chondrite Meteorite that fell and was recovered in North West Africa, these are known as NWA XXX Meteorites.
