Not a very promising start to the day but it got better as the day went on.

A blacksmith by trade, this competition entrant took a long time guessing the weight of the meteorite.

The Middlesbrough meteorite cast is always a firm favourite with visitors.
Goof job we had plenty of competition entry slips printed!
We rarely had a clear view out throughout the day with a constant stream of visitors.
It is always such a joy to meet so many people fascinated by meteorites 🙂

After 8 hours of constant talking my voice was a bit ragged!
